Apologetics – Defending the Faith
Does science prove the existence of God? What historical evidence is there for a bodily resurrection? What role does reason play in the creation of faith? Knowing the answers to questions like these can help us carry on a thoughtful conversation with those who are skeptical of the Christian faith. This six-week, video-based class will equip participants to “always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” (1 Peter 3:15)
- Leader: Pastor Raasch

Galatians: Freed to be Free
The gospel was in jeopardy! It was undercut by false teaching, which took peoples’ focus off Christ and put it on themselves and their keeping of the Old Testament law. How did Paul confront this critical error? How were these Christians shown the importance of believing and relying on Jesus for salvation when they’d been deceived into thinking other things were better than Jesus? What benefit does this powerful epistle have for us today? Much! Join us in the sanctuary for a Bible study on the book of Galatians.
- Leader: Pastor Gawel

From David killing Goliath to David being overcome by temptation, we can see images of ourselves and learn how God deals justly with those He loves.

Sunday School and Under Four Daycare
As our children grow physically, growing in their faith and understanding of God’s Word is absolutely vital! Mount Olive offers Sunday School classes for age 4 (by Sept. 1) through 6th grade. These classes include Bible stories, crafts, music, and age-appropriate discussion and application of the truths of God’s Word. Sunday School uses a different curriculum than our Christian Day School, so each Sunday features a different Bible story not covered during the school week. Sunday School meets from 9:15 am-10:15 am every Sunday morning. Mount Olive also offers a daycare room with music, play, and structured learning for children under the age of 4 who aren’t old enough for Sunday School so parents can drop off their kids and attend Bible class themselves. Please make use of this resource for the spiritual growth of you and your children!
