You’re invited to our 2025 Women’s Retreat: Rise & Shine on Saturday, September 6, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in the commons!
This year’s theme is: “Rise and Shine: Building up yourself, your friends, and your community in God’s love,” inspired by 1 Thessalonians 5:11a – “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”

- Time: 9-11 am. Doors open at 8:30 am with a light breakfast and a program to follow
- Outdoor Afterglow at Gawel’s and Priewe’s backyards to immediately follow – Stay for snacks, relaxed conversation.
This event is designed to encourage and equip women of all ages. We’ll share stories, practical insights, and time together as we reflect on what it means to rise up and shine God’s love into our daily lives and relationships.
Come ready to be encouraged, make connections, and leave refreshed.

Meet our Guest Speaker: Laura Cherney
Laura has been blessed to serve God and His people as an educator, wife, mom, and overall person in Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia, Wisconsin, California, and Wisconsin again. By sharing the trials and joys of her journey, Laura hopes to equip women to “encourage one another and build each other up” through authentic conversations, laughter, and God’s loving Word.
