SCRIP fundraising is a program that enables families to raise money within their non-profit organization. SCRIP is just another way to pay for everyday purchases by using gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards.
How does it work? You purchase gift cards at face value (either online or in person) from Mount Olive. Mount Olive orders these gift cards at a reduced value, and the difference in cost (rebate) is split 60/40. Forty percent of the rebate goes toward the administration of the SCRIP program and you choose one option below for your portion (60%) of the rebate:
- Tuition credit for your family or another family of your choice
- Hot lunch credit for your child/ren
- Mount Olive’s Tuition Assistance Fund
- Mount Olive’s General Fund
- Mount Olive’s Forward in Faith 2 Fund
- An annual cash payout to you
