God’s Word is to be the guide and rule in all matters of our faith and life. The love of Christ motivates us to share what God’s Word has to say to children about their life and conduct. We lovingly guide children to cooperate with their peers while learning self-control and respect for others.
The following four principles are the basis for the behavior model. Together as parents and teacher we have a responsibility and privilege to be hold and skillful in the application of Law and Gospel to discipline the children entrusted in in our care.
· Show love to God.
· Show love to others.
· Show love for your school.
· Show love for yourself.
Parent-teacher conferences maybe scheduled to discuss behaviors and develop a plan of discipline that is acceptable to parents and teachers when inappropriate or aggressive behaviors occur. It is imperative that home and school cooperate with mutual goals and procedures pertaining to discipline. Dismissal of an individual child from our program is considered when health, safety, and the welfare of that child or others in the group is at risk.
